Summer is BBQ Season

It sure is nice to be in demand! Our summer schedule filled up quickly; there are tons of opportunities to see the quintet perform.
If you haven’t caught one of our shows yet, this is the perfect season to take in your first Bedford Brass Quintet concert. Enjoy the sunshine and a breezy program dominated by jazz and pops music. Many of the concerts listed below are open-air, and they’re all free to the public!
Bedford Days 2013
We’re proud to participate in Bedford Days, a week-long summer festival in our home town.
Rouge et Blanc: A Bedford Summer Soirée
7:00-8:00PM Friday, June 28th | Basinview Drive Community School, Bedford
Wine samples provided by Harvest Wines and Spirits, live music, and hors d’ouevres from some of Bedford’s finest dining establishments. The quintet will perform jazz, pop, and classical favourites.
Bedford Days Ice Cream Social
2:00-3:30PM Sunday, June 30th | DeWolf Park, Bedford
Need to cool off? Head to DeWolf Park for free ice cream from Chicken Little (while supplies last), and free tunes courtesy of the Bedford Brass Quintet!

Brass On Board
Enjoy a free show by the Bedford Brass Quintet as you ride the Alderney ferry across the harbour! Sit back and groove to a mix of jazz, pops, folk, and clasical music as we serenade you during your 12-minute journey between Halifax and Dartmouth.

Summer Shows on the Bandstand
Want to fill your summer with even more brass? You’re in luck! We’re playing a pair of open-air concerts at two of Halifax’s great parks.

Sullivan’s Pond Bandstand, Dartmouth
The Bedford Brass Quintet performs favourite pop, jazz and movie music on the bandstand at Sullivan’s Pond in Dartmouth.
2:00-4:00PM Sunday, August 11th
Halifax Public Gardens Bandstand
Grab some ice cream from Uncommon Grounds and soak up the sunshine (and some tasty tunes) surrounded by the splendour of Halifax’s most beautiful park.
